Teresa was admitted to the Bar in 2018. She leads a general practice. She has appeared either as a sole advocate or a led junior counsel in the Court of Final Appeal, Court of Appeal, High Court, District Court and the Magistrates’ Courts.
Teresa’s criminal practice ranges from legal visits, plea bargains, bail applications and mitigations to trials and appeals. She has represented clients in cases of, inter alia, criminal damage, drug offences, road traffic offences, offences of dishonesty (including conspiracy to defraud), sexual offences and manslaughter.
For civil matters, Teresa’s breadth of experience covers land, commercial and contract, company, coroner’s court hearings, insolvency, bankruptcy, tort, labour, trusts and probate. She has worked on interlocutory applications involving, inter alia, summary judgment, default judgment, striking-out, injunctions and jurisdictional disputes. She regularly advises on personal injury cases and has been instructed to advise on regulatory compliance of companies in Hong Kong.
